A nifty homemade cablecam system for your GoPro? Yes please. If you want to get those sweet shots whipping through the woods you’ll need one of these amazing contraptions.

Parts you’ll need to make a DIY GoPro cablecam mount:

  • Two 2″ utility pulleys ≈ $12
  • 3/8″ x 2′ threaded rod
  • 3/8″ x 75′ rope
  • Two 3/8″ lock nuts
  • Two 3/8″ washers
  • Three 1/2″ x 6″ PVC risers
  • 1/2″ x 4″ PVC riser
  • 1/2″ PVC 90 deg. elbow
  • 1/2″ PVC T-joint

Tools you’ll need:

  • Pliers
  • Grinder
  • Wrench
  • Iron saw
