I know I’m being picky, but my inner machinist cringed when you said to drill a hole “just shy” of a 1/4-20. How much is “just shy?”
What you want is a #7 drill, which is .201 diameter.

Why do you have people tap a hole for 1/4-20, then tell them to use a “10/32nd” screw and nut?

Also, that should be pronounced “ten thirty two” not “ten thirty seconds”. The size is 10, and there are 32 threads per inch. You pronounced it like it was a fraction, (10/32nd) and even if it were a fraction, that would be stated as 5/16 not 10/32nds. Yes, I know I’m being anal, but if you are going to take the trouble of making a DIY video that’s so detailed that it shows people how to remove a bracket from its packaging, then don’t leave the details that really matter to chance.

I was wondering, does it have to pan and tilt at the same time or can you make it just pan too?
